Steven has been a member of the Adelphic Fund since the early 1980's, shortly after his graduation from Cornell, and active as a Trustee nearly as long. He has been instrumental in establishing and annually awarding the Scholarships in the Martin McVoy Jr. Trust, setting scholarship and Academic Award criteria, fund raising for the Cornell Tradition Fellowships, and volunteering for his Cornell Class. Most recently Steven initiated a Matriculated Senior Student Loan Forgiveness program, and with a team of alumni established and continues to develop funding for an Undergraduate Veterans Student Advocate position within the Office of Student Life, and lead an award winning Cornell Giving Day Social Media campaign. Steven resides in West Chester Pennsylvania. He and his wife are active in their church and in the lives and activities of their 3 children. Thom is a former President of the Fund and has been a Trustee since 1989. His current responsibilities focus on strategic and tactical management of our "Core Endowment" assets. He also is involved in the vetting of various ACEF programs supporting undergraduate education at Cornell University. Among his other charitable activities, Thom serves on the Leadership Council of Harvard Divinity School and is a Life Member of such organizations as the Western National Parks Association, the UDT/SEAL Museum Association, and the Naval War College Foundation

Active as the ACEF Treasurer for over a decade, Ron maintains a full range of audit systems assuring proper disbursements, application of scholarship and award funds, and credits donations. Ron's technical computer work and personal efforts made possible an ACEF funded complete computer networking and cabling of 777 Stewart Ave. He contacted former active loan recipients successfully soliciting repayment and further support. Self described as 'overly diversified', he owns and operates a computer business, owns and trades in commercial real estate, and is an accomplished competitive and professional skydiver. |

Rob has been a Trustee of the Adelphic Fund since 2007. Rob’s association with the Adelphic Fund began during his Cornell undergraduate days when the ACEF provided significant support to the Cornell Political Forum, a non-partisan political magazine with which Rob was heavily involved. Rob and his wife Susan’s support of the Adelphic Writing Awards reflects their commitment to encouraging undergraduates to develop stronger writing skills. Beyond the ACEF, Rob has been actively involved in fund-raising for Cornell University, as a Class Officer, chairing or co-chairing the Major Gifts Committee for his Cornell class’s reunions. |

David joined the ACEF Board of Trustees in 2006 and has been active in the fund since that date. David is the Founder and Chairman of D.L. Ryan Companies, Ltd. which owns and directs a portfolio of highly successful marketing firms, including Ryan Partnership and Catapult Marketing. Together, the Ryan Companies represent one of the largest, privately-held marketing services organizations in North America. David and his wife Kathy reside in Westport, Connecticut and all three of their children have attended Cornell University. Their sons, Hunter and David graduated in the classes of ʻ07 and ʻ08 respectively, although their daughter Sarah has recently transferred to Georgetown University to take advantage of a self-proclaimed “enhanced shopping environment.” |

Doug has been affiliated with the Adelphic Fund for over 25 years. He is a past Secretary, Treasurer, and President – and remains a loyal Trustee. During his tenure he has seen the Fund more than quintuple in value and has overseen a number of initiatives to aid students. Doug, like all of our Trustees, brings a unique set of business and financial skills to help the Fund. After graduating from Cornell with a BS in Industrial relations, Doug went on to get his MBA from the University of Michigan. He is a former banker at CIBC World Markets, portfolio manager at Morgan Stanley’s Van Kampen Funds, and managing director at Huron Consulting. |
