Application for McVoy Grant for

Student Loan and Work/Study Reduction

Forward an email or Letter to: McVoy@AdelphicFund.org with as much of the following information as possible.
McVoy Scholarship awards are made annually
on the basis of:
  • GPA,
  • Financial Need (as determined by Fin. Aid) ,
  • Existing outstanding student loans,
  • Participation in ADPhi,
  • Status as a resident of 777 Stewart Ave and
  • as a ADP Brother in good standing.  

Please include in your application letter:
  • name, email, year, college,
  • Ithaca Address,
  • offices held at ADPhi,
  • approximate outstanding total student loan amount, and
  • Ithaca/Cornell community public service
  • or other public service activities of special note (if any)
  • Financial Need (as determined by CU Fin Aid) ,
  • List or Detail Your Participation in ADP and other orgs,
  • Confirm Your status as a resident of 777 Stewart Ave and
  • Confirmation by and Undergraduate Officer or Alumni Officer of your Status as an ADP Brother in good standing.  
Martin McVoy, Jr., Cornell Class of 1892 was a brother in Alpha Delta Phi and directed that his estate go to support Academic Studies at Cornell and specifically the Alpha Delta Phi.  The ACEF acta as adviser to Cornell.
